ITINERARY IN BRIEF

Day 1 Arrive Windhoek by 09h00, to Okonjima Bush Camp, AfriCat Foundation
This morning guide will collect you from your respective accommodation establishment or from the Windhoek International Airport (assuming you land before 09h00). You then depart Windhoek in your safari vehicle with your personal guide and drive north via Okahandja to Okonjima Bush Camp where you will stay overnight.

Day 2 & 3 Okaukuejo Resort, Etosha National Park
You will rise early this morning for another memorable guided AfriCat activity before you return to Okonjima Bush Camp for a tasty brunch (on this safari we recommend the hyena tracking on foot). You will then depart with your Ultimate Safaris vehicle and guide to continue north to the southern boundary of Etosha National Park where you will stay at the state owned Okaukuejo Resorts, located inside the National Park.

Day 4 Hobatere Lodge, Hobatere Concession
Full day of exciting game viewing within the southern section of Etosha National Park today, on game drives with your guide and return to Okaukuejo Resort for your second night stay.

Day 5 & 6 Hoanib River Camp, Northern Palmwag Concession
Today’s exciting drive takes you completely off the beaten track and into remote areas of the Kunene Region as you follow tracks and ephemeral river courses to reach Hoanib River Camp.

Day 7 & 8 Etendeka Mountain Camp, Etendeka Concession
Return along the Hoanib River this morning to join the main road heading south from Sesfontein to the Etendeka Concession. Here you will stay for two nights at Etendeka Mountain Camp, a remote and homely wilderness camp located within the heart of the Etendeka Concession.

Day 9 Mowani Mountain Camp, Twyfelfontein
You will game drive your way out of the Etendeka Concession this morning and then continue south into the heart of Damaraland; home to breathtaking scenery, Twyfelfontein rock engravings, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and the elusive desert adapted elephant.

Day 10 & 11 Villa Margherita, Swakopmund
You may like to begin with a gentle walk into the local area before breakfast, or enjoy a more leisurely start to your day if preferred. After breakfast you will depart and head southeast passed Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg which peaks at 2,573 m above sea level, and via the small mining community of Uis to reach the coastal town of Swakopmund.
